Ducky is the Indian Runner and Cutie is the Pekin are my new additions.
The American Pekin duck, also known as the Peking, White Pekin, Pekin, and Long Island duck.[4] is the most popular breed of domestic duck in North America.[5][6] It originated from the mallard in China, and is now distributed in many countries, and in all continents.[5]
The American Pekin duck is used primarily for egg and meat production. It was bred from the mallard in China. Pekin ducks are not generally found in the wild.
The American Pekin is the most popular commercial breed of duck in the United States,[7] after a small number were imported to Long Island from China in 1872.
American Pekin ducks bear a superficial resemblance to a British duck breed, the Aylesbury. Pekins can be distinguished from Aylesbury Ducks by their larger overall size, bright orange-yellow beaks and more upright posture.[citation needed]
Born in Pennsylvania between Amish country and the Blue Ridge Mountains, since 1985, freelance photography was a natural hobby. Technology then allowed for greater creativity and I became proficient with digital art. Giving thanks to God, the source of all wisdom, Sheryl Rainey, for patience with teaching me digital photography, and my brother Andy Bush for showing me his travel of world for inspiration. Thanks to many others who contributed to my life and inspiring me to continue and making the world of photography a reality. Email: wildlife4ever777@gmail.com, phone number is 478-731-3118.
